NEW day Links

There are some helpful links in the broader church that helps us to understand the move of the Holy Spirit that we are inviting to inhabit the town of Watford. But first some context:

A New Day definitely is not

• The next fad to entertain a slumbering Church
• An encouragement for flakey Christians to hype things up or do absurd things
• Working against the work of any church or agency
• A replacement for Christians Across Watford, the Churches Together groups or any such organisation
• Trying to re-produce what is happening in the 'Florida outpouring' or anywhere else for that matter. We want what God has for Watford!
• An attempt to grow any one individual church. This is for the whole church across the whole town
• Another exclusive centralised organisation

A New Day simply is

• A response by a small group of church, outreach and marketplace leaders to the prompting of God to gather Christians to pray and receive a fresh in-filling of the Holy Spirit
• Born out of a desire to see the ministry of Jesus replicated inside and outside the Church again, including the ministry of healing, signs and wonders - all of which point to Jesus himself and his eternal kingdom
• The offering of leadership and opportunity to everyone and anyone who is seeking more of God's glory, power and presence in Watford
• an opportunity for many, many people to come to Christ through the witness of 'fired up' Christians
